As a service to our customers, Fowlers Vacola have a large range of elements and thermostats which suit many of the preserving kits we have manufactured over the past 106 years.
To order these please call Customer Service on (03) 9329 7799 for assistance, we strongly recommend emailing us photos of your unit and spare part needed (if avail) to info@fowlersvacola.com.au so our specialists can assist in determining the correct part for you.
If you require a spare part such as an element please assist us by having answers ready for the following questions:
-
Is the unit thermostatically controlled or does it have a high/low switch?
-
Is the unit metal or plastic?
-
If plastic, is the unit brown or white in colour? If brown, (ie. The old Year Rounder) the unit will have to be sent back to Fowlers Vacola for modification.
-
If unit is metal and does not have a high/low switch, what style of thermostat does it have:
-
Plug in type thermostat (ie. Like a frypan).
-
If the thermostat is built in, (ie. Temperature dial is on the side of the unit) Is the unit old or new?
